All-Star Cheer

Being a part of a Base competitive cheer team gives you a wide range of cheering and tumbling opportunities. Each team practices two days a week. Competitive cheerleaders are encouraged to take a tumbling class, which is once a week for 1 hour. Monthly tuition includes team practices, and 1 weekly tumbling class. Team fee's include competitions and bonding events.

Q-What is the cost and how is it paid?
A-$75-$115 per month for 10 months
Q-How many competitions do you attend; how far do you travel; how much school is missed?
A-Travel teams attend 3 overnight competitions and 4 one-day/local competitions starting in November,
Semi Travel teams attend 2 overnight competitions and 3 one day/local competitions, Regional Teams attend 0 overnight competitions and 5 one day/local competitions.
Q-How often do you practice?
A- Depending on the team you are on (1-3 days per week).
Q-I am going on vacation during the summer, should I wait until I get back to start?
A-Our summer schedule is NOT flexible when it comes to attendance. We expect a cheerleader to attend practice if they are in town. Since most of our skill building is done over the summer the more the child attends practice the more they will progress. Base is closed the last 2 weeks of July, so we ask that your vacations be scheduled around these dates if possible. Tuition costs are calculated annually, so anyone starting after the summer will still pay the full tuition.

Q-Cheerleading has become a dangerous sport, so what experience do your coaches have?
A-Our staff is fully certified by the USASF in the latest safety and spotting techniques, and you can be assured that your child is in the best hands possible when it comes to cheerleading and tumbling instruction.
Q-What cheerleading/tumbling experience must a person have in order to make a team?
A-There are no requirements for evaluations; everyone that goes through the evaluation process will make a team. BASE takes great pride in improving the talent level of each individual within the organization.
